ALUMNAE
Being a Sigma Alpha Omega® sister is more than four quick years as college members, we are One in Christ Through Unity in Sisterhood®!
Membership in Sigma Alpha Omega® lasts far beyond our time in college; it lasts a lifetime. This is why we maintain strong relationships between our college sisters and alumnae and hold events throughout the year to continue creating these relationships and memories. These events include Founder's Day, almunae brunch, and we are currently in the process of creating more.
Established by vote of delegates at the Annual Meeting of Members in June 2013, Alumnae Associations have been accepted as representative auxiliary associations for Sigma Alpha Omega® alumnae both state-wide and regionally. Alumnae Associations are afforded a single delegate to vote at each annual meeting and are optional for alumnae to join. The purpose of this organization shall be to assemble alumnae sisters of Sigma Alpha Omega® Christian Sorority, Inc., for the purpose of Christ-centered connection, locally and nationally, and joining in Christian fellowship while embracing the ideals of the National Sorority. The Alumnae Association will support the alumnae sisters, current chapters, and future chapters in their respective areas.
Our chapter would not be what it is today without our alumnae, and we are always happy to have them at our events. We encourage alumnae to join our alumnae associations and stay involved with Sigma Alpha Omega® - Alpha Rho Chapter!
